Wrangler madness!

Not really, some folks have it a lot worse than I do. I started out with a brace of 4 5/8" guns with black pearlite from Arizona Custom Grips.

Then I made a black double Mexican loop rig for it.

Then I snagged a birdshead model, to which I added the black micarta grips from my Carryhawk.

And a little Slim Jim holster.

Decided to go a different direction with the pair of 7.5's. Arizona Custom faux stag grips and I'll make a distressed brown leather rig for them.

So far these are my favorites. Already have one holster on the way.

I’ve been a Single Six guy since 1976, but when they came out with the Birdshead Wrangler I bought one. The first thing I did was to replace the grips.

They need to come out with another batch of Birdshead stainless fixed sight Single Sixes...I need one, but not going to get one with them going for collector prices. :(

Why would they do that, just because they finally had an answer to the Heritage???

I sure hope not. My first .22 revolver was a Heritage. Second was a S&W. Third will hopefully be a Single Six Ruger.
Yup, now you've done it.....picked up my first Wrangler today. Wrangler 2022. Black Cerakote.
Those Birds heads look very tempting.....
i have a TALO Birdshead, and a standard Wrangler. I already have my Single Six. Pricing on the SS is getting pretty high.

:love:WOW! Stop It! It looks like I'm going to get a Super Wrangler, and try a new set of grips or three!
Just wondering....can the Wrangler hammer be cold blued? My Wrangler is black cerakote and the hammer might look better if'n it were blued
I bought a black Wrangler to keep on the tractor. Figured for the money it wouldn’t matter if it got scratched up a little from jostling around. It actually is a fun little gun! Mine is quite accurate. The loading gate is a pain in the butt if you shoot a lot. I would prefer the adjustable sights of the Super, but mine pretty much shoots to the sights so I’m happy.

Ruger's single six is no longer an affordable or attractive option for many at its current price point but just because it has moved from a mainstream to a more upper end classification for a .22 single action revolver I do not think is any indication it is ending its lifespan.

When it comes to a quality .22 single action one of the names that is always in the mix is the Ruger single six.

The Wrangler line of Ruger single action revolvers in my opinion is just Ruger coming out with a more budget friendly offering to compete more in price with offerings like the Heritage models.

Ordered a silver Wrangler 4 days after it was introduced in 2019, It had a 3000 range serial number, unfortunately it shot about 6 inches low at 15-20 yards. last week I bought a silver Super Wrangler with adjustable sights that shoots great with both 22 and 22 mag cylinders. Sold the original for what I paid less the transfer fee, overall out of pocket extra cost was less that $100, I am a happy camper.

My two Wranglers are on consignment at fairly local shop, both unfired complete with boxes and all paper work.
