I couldn’t pass up a great deal for this 52B and this W75 today. While I know I got a good deal on it. Wondering what the 52B would be valued at being that it has a custom thumb hole stock on it. Don’t know if that hurts or helps the value, I would imagine it would hurt it but not sure by how much. It has Olympic sights. And also I need to check the 52 book I just got, but I’m not sure that Bs ever came one shot only like this. Makes me think of the D. Next time I’m home I’ll check to see if it’s a bull barrel but they are kind of rare. Will assume it’s just a heavy barrel. Thanks in advance for any help/knowledge.

Hey Chrysler:

Have you removed the action from the stock and seen if there is a stock maker signature in there?

I am not a expert but that could be a Al Freeland, Roy Dunlap, or a Wayne Schwartz stock. If it is a Freeland or Dunlap stock it will add to the value. Wayne Schwartz stocks are not as widely known but are just as good.

Crankster
