The first gun my GF shot was my grandpa's 10/22. We let her go through a single 10rd mag at a pile of wood, then we put up a target at about 15yd. Her second 10 rounds ever was a 3" group with open sights and standing offhand! Since then, she has never ceased to amaze me. One time my roommate and I were shooting at some piece of paper in the back yard with an air rifle, and neither of us could hit it.
