I have come to the conclusion that I want to mount a red dot on my Ruger Mk II but I dont have much experience with them. I dont want to spend a ton of money but I dont want a peice of junk either. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Go to Midwayusa.com and look at their red dots, they have just about everyone listed. Along with these are ratings from the people that purchase and use them. They get ratings between 1-5 stars. It's a great reference tool. I just got a Tasco ProPoint PDP2 brand new on ebay for $33+$10 shipping. It cost $80+shipping from Midway. I put it on my Mark II Government Target Model. The gun is quite a bit heavier and I don't like the profile but I still can't wait to try it out.....Hope this helps
