Which extended mag release do you fellas recommend for a STOCK BX trigger group, the only mod I also have on order is the VQ bolt release? Does the Ruger on work in the BX group. Thanks.

if you're going to swap out the factory extended release..I like the Volquartsen

shown here on a BX trigger assembly, in a Pike Arms alloy housing...

The link says it is not compatable with the BX trigger?

Thanks for the feed back.
STD TG and BX are basically the same except for the trigger blade, hammer, and sear.

The VQ mag release has the best fit and beats even the Kidd.

Don't care for its finish nor material though; it's like powdercoated zamak alloy it's even obvious in the photo with its uneven surface.

I gave mine away.

TI/ Pike Arms has the sloppiest mag release fit but can be remedied by installing an O-ring between the slide release plate and housing.

I like their paddle design the most, especially the erstwhile anodized ones.
These are my favorite. Look like they were designed for the 10/22. Simple and easy to reach, but don't hang down like the really long ones. Timber Creek. Have them on all six of my guns. Available in various colors. Are made from billet anodized aluminum.

I really like these as well. They give you the best access to your bolt stop. Even guiding your finger there.
Most extended mag releases block the bolt stop.

Good point.

not just basically the same assembly, they're are exactly the same, except for trigger blade, hammer, sear and the disconnect (y)
you could always go for KIDD's copy of it

their medium extended lever is the same...

I like the Crossfire release as well as any I have seen to try.
I like Brimstone's mag release.

I have one the curves back over the trigger guard and like it, much easier to release the mag with one finger.

The Timber Creek mentioned above does obstruct the mag release somewhat, but it still works.
you actually like these plastic paddles?

Pretty sure he's not bothered by it.

You've seen his field expedient cheekpiece, haven't you?
