Looks like you can buy it directly from Ruger.

Ruger hammer forged barrel
Thanks. I am actually looking for this one. https://shopruger.com/10_22-Target-Barrel-Stainless/productinfo/90551/

I had no idea direct from Ruger was an option.

I bought mine from them last year. Looks great on the black 10/22T with the nutmeg stock, and shoots better than the black. Not a Kidd, but a good value. Added a Kidd two-stage trigger at 8/8oz.
Actually came across one on Ebay earlier. I saw both a Blued and Stainless OEM Spiral Hammer Forged. Heres the Link to the Stainless.

I tried to buy an 20" SS LTV Barrel directly from Ruger, and they told me I hade to send them the Rifle and they would install it for a price plus installation. Said that's the only option I had if I wanted a factory barrel. As I only needed on as a spare. I passed.
You are asking for a different barrel style then what is discussed here, LTV barrels are not the SS Hammer Forged barrel being asked about. Ruger may have issues selling that style without "fitting it" to the rifle, ask them why and let us know

Shows you can have a 20" SS target barrel for $120 from "shopruger.com", That ebay ads marked it up $50 more than shopruger, both show stock. Let us know who you go with and details.:D
Isnt the LTV Barrel the Aluminum sleeved barrel? And is fitting it any different than a regular slip-fit v-block barrel? Or is that just Rugers way to keep them in stock and drive the price up on their Target models.
No, It is Stainless. Nothing Aluminum about this barrel. You are correct in inferring they where not Hammer Forged.
Sigh....

Ruger produces its own hammer-forged barrels. A mandrel with the correct rifling and the exact dimensions of the barrel is inserted into a barrel blank. ... The entire rifling process takes about 2½ minutes to complete, and then the barrels are cut to the required length.Sep 9, 2015
you guys are getting off track talking about different barrels

the OP asked about the Hammer Forged Target barrels...they're easy to identify, they're straight .920" barrels with this

stamped into them...and available directly from Ruger for $100 for the blued, and $120 for SS

they're not the same as the heavy tapered barrels from the LTV models, or the aluminum sleeved barrels from the Lite models

Gotcha, LVT is the Tapered Stainless Target, not the Cylindrical. I got it confused with the newer Target Lite barrel. The Ebay link i provided still has the Ruger Stainless Hammer Forged Cylindrical Target OP is looking for priced at 170.

I didnt realize he was talking about the T barrel at first, as they are all hammer forged.

Yep, whether tapered with iron sights or heavy bull barrel, Ruger like CZ make all their own barrels by cold hammer forging...:bthumb:
