There used to be a guy in TN that sold blued 10/22 action (receiver, triggergroup, v-block, stock screw for 119...it would be about $150 by the time I got it in my hands.

but now, I can't seem to get ahold of him and I'm afraid that he is no longer in business.

So anyone know of another source?

I'm living in TX right now...I just picked up NIB plain-jane 10/22 for $150 (before tax) from the local Academy Sports retailer. It seems that inexpensive guns like this are where (unfortunately) you usually have to buy from a chain rather than a gun shop if you want the cheapest price. If you don't have Academy, I think the nearest Wal-Mart may have what you're looking for. And if they don't, most walmarts will special order what your heart desires.

Thanks,

Just check the nearest store...855 miles away...apparently there is no oshmans around here.
ROAD TRIP!!!:D

Are there no sporting goods chains in your area? Or have you checked and they're sky high?

You might also hit the auction sites (gunbroker, etc) as long as you have a "local" FFL willing to do the xfer.

www.brownells.com

They sell just about anything you want in the way of gunsmithing parts.

One quick look through the catalog lists 4! different 10/22 recievers. Cost is $168 to $350 tho' plus FFL cost.

Glad I live in Texas! Just bought 10/22 for $160 tax included.
