The reigning champions of the bench are the Weaver T36 and the Leupold 36x. Shooting at little bitty x's requires great big magnification. Most of the folks round home go for the 6-24 or the 8-32 size for a little more versatility. If it doesn't have an adjustable objective, forget about it. Rimfires are usually shot closer than centerfire scopes' parallax adjustments.
