What reticle did you get?

What do you use it for (ie hunting, target, plunking, all)?

I have Zeiss HD-5 3-15x42 scopes on both my Cooper 17mach2, and my Cooper 17HMR. Both scopes that the target turrets.

Sightron 2.5-17x56. Unbelievable scope crystal clear at all magnafication. Love the thin reticle with illuminated dot. Built like a tank. Only down side is it is heavier than the cheaper scopes. Clearest scope I have looked through including nf, zeiss and ior.

Got one from Midway for $200 that will go on the new 10/22. It is a 3-12x42.

I will probably get another one if I can find one for that price again to go on a CZ 455. If not I will be going to Leupold.

Ditto on the Mueller Eraticator. If only it had the mil dot reticle---. I'm not a fan of the dot, but I can see how it would be great for p-dogs and crows and such. I have 4 Mueller scopes, and love them all. I was at the range a few years back when another shooter came by with a beautiful custom rifle and a Leupold 8.5 x 25 VX 3 on top. After a bit I was getting ready to leave, and we talked about his rig. I then set up my 10-22T with the Mueller TAC on top side by side with the custom rig. I wanted to see how much better the Leupold was than my Mueller. To my surprise the Mueller was just as clear and bright as the Leupold. I didn't have the heart to tell him. BTW, I'm also a Leupold fan and have 2 of them.

So far its taken the abuse I've given it, ATV rides, camp idiots, and my wife knocking it over (I freaked out over that one). Still maintains zero so I can't complain.

just a update after 400 rounds my bsa sweet 17 3x12x40 has gone south. i am sending it back, but unsure what i am doing after that. maybe they will replace and i can sell it ang get something else who knows.

Just ordered the Savage A17 and I'm thinking of going with a Vortex Diamondback HP 4-16x42mm BDC.
Taking it out to Nebraska for a P-dog trip so I need something for long shots.

open to suggestions??
