The season isn't in around here yet

Just wondering what is the difference
between bunny's and hares where you
are located.
Round here we only have rabbits. :D

Plinker...

I think (someone can kick me if I'm wrong) that Jackrabbits are actually not rabbits, but hares. I'm thinking that all kinds of rabbits can interbreed, as well as can hares, but they can't cross over.

Yeah...I know. Who brought up Jackrabbits? :D

Yup. You ever actually try to EAT a jackrabbit?

:D

Razorback Steak must be a delicacy in comparison...

No jackrabbits around in my neck of the woods.
How do you prepare them. :D

Hmmm... Jacks eat: small desert shrubs grass and others, I can't believe they taste that bad? Do they?

"How do you prepare them"?

I think you yell "Fore"...just as you pull the trigger.

My Grandmother used to make mincemeat pie out of it. Seldom got finished, and I've NEVER seen anyone go back for seconds. From the times I have eaten it, it is digestable, but you have to be hungry. Real hungry.

British Mammals

Guys,

you can check out the differences by going to the Mammal Society , I presume they are the same in the USA:

I tried adding a link but it keeps coming back with an error?

Go to Google and search for Mammal Society UK and look at the free fact sheets from the home page.

Antlurz tell me if that works it does over here but pasting the link in seems useless!

Regards,

English.

(I bet our tree hugging liberals never think we find this useful ;) )
