I've branched out even further - now I'm buying Savages!
Not being content with shooting "proper" rimfire rifles (that is to say BSA Martinis), I first bought a Winchester 52. Then I bought an 1890 (everybody needs at least ONE Gallery Rifle, right?). Now I've done went and bought myself a Savage 19. From poking around here a bit, I believe it's actually a 19-33 (or /33, if you prefer), with the beavertail fore-end, Lyman sights and such. In fact, it looks a whole lot like my 52 pre-A Winchester, sights and all. The sights are a plus in my book - I like iron sights, so sue me already.
My questions are two; what kind of accuracy should I expect from this, and what are the rifle's weak points, if any?
I swear, I don't know WHERE this yen for bolt-action American rifles came from. Beautiful lines, though
