Hi All,

Inasmuch as Rugers' website fails to show any weight specifications on their products, can anyone supply me with the exact weight of either/both of the two bull-barrelled/laminated stock models as supplied. I need this information to help in formulating a set of rules for a new competition.

The weight may be given in "lb & oz" or "decimal lb".

Thanks and regards,
Bryan - The Fuzzy Limey

Walmart shows the ship weight as 10 lbs vs 7.5 for the carbine. Maybe 2.5 lbs more than the carbine. Sounds about right. The significant weight is in the barrel, not the stock

Actually, the laminated stock on the "T"s is also significantly heavier than the walnut or birch "standard" stock. Certainly, as was stated abopve, the barrel is the major difference, but the stock is not an insignificant part of the difference as well.
