Besides the price, one advantage of the P-22 that is consistantly being overlooked is:
The P-22 is supposed to be dimensionally the same as the P-99 (available in 9mm or .40 S&W). The P-99 is one cool pistola.
If you own a P-99 for self defense, and/or shoot it in the stock classes of IDPA or IPSC, then with a P-22 you have an ergonomically identical practise alternative in a much more economical caliber! What a great way to practise your speed draw, first (double action) shot etc..
