Some photos of the Walther P-22 pistols, which I have not shot yet. I try to compare them in size to a S&W AirLite .22 revolver, #10 .38 spec. revolver, #2213 .22 auto pistol. I have one pic of two P-22 pistols showing the different backstraps. Finally, a pic showing everything that came with it except for the box.

Hopefully, I will get to shoot one of them Tuesday.

oh ya clean it good when you get it and dump about 300 rounds thru it. and watch shooting colibri thru it then reg. long rifle. colibri seems to foul the barrel and l.r. wont seat? chamber all the way.

one last thing in your first photo is that a maglite?
if i can suggest get rid of it and go with a sure-fire
6p or one size smaller. you wont regret it.

I was fooling around with a Weaver ring and stuck the mag lite in it for the pic. Who makes the light you mention and where do I get it?

What have you done for a holster?

I am prepared to try about ten brands of ammo in the Walther. I have run CCI Blazer through several auto pistols and never had a problem with it, so will go with that first.

All of my guns came with the extra backstrap, two other front sights, a front sight hole plug, one extra mag, a rod guide that was too large in diameter, a key for the internal lock, and the trigger lock. All are the 3.42" barrel model.

I have the 5" model, and LOVE it. I cant wait to try it out with the 3.42" barrel I have ordered.

I think my wife may end up taking this one...bummer, Ill have to get another.

John is talking about the lights made by Sure-Fire. They're essentially a Mini-Maglite built around a pair of DL123 3V batteries instead of the AAs. A little shorter and fatter, and MUCH brighter.

I prefer the Scorpion made by Streamlight, because it had an adjustable beam (like the Maglites, but w/o the dark center). Makes it much more useful IMHO, and cheaper too. But the Sure-Fires are easier to use with some gun/light techniques.

Both should be available from anyplace that sells police equipment. Sporting goods stores might have them too, especially the Streamlight models. I got mine at a gun show.
