I think they know that there is a lot of people that never do the math, and they profit from it. Just like in the grocery store, the big bottle of ketchup isn't always the cheapest when you break down what each once costs.The A17 200 packs have always been more expensive than buying 4- 50 round boxes, even before ammo was scarce. Seems like an odd business practice.
I have chron'd 3 different lots of the A17 (30-35 shots each) with results of 2833, 2845 and 2866 fps avg. They say 2650 fps so around 200fps faster than advertised.It is my understanding that the A-17 round is about a 100 fps faster
than a standard round. So it's not like for like. Is that worth the extra
$ amount is for you to decide.
