Ok, please don't laugh and yes, I already know I'm ugly so cut me some slack. ;)

Hopefully it helps!

You said that, we didn't. :D
Hah!

Thanks for the kind words, Wheelgun. If there is a next one, or a remake of that one, you might tell folks about the purpose of that extra wide shoulder flap on the "shooting side" of your vest.
Nice video! :bthumb:

I agree and I think that we'll stick this one. :)
Oh....WOW! Someone decided to make it into a sticky! Thanks guys, I feel honored. ;)

Silhouette Video

Wheelgun,

Enjoyed your Silhouette intro. Video:
Informative, it flowed nicely; you are easy to understand.

I'm guessing you have conducted presentations before?

Your video should be a Big help to new silhouette shooters.

Dave
I plan on doing my first silhouette match next month and found this quite informative. THANKS!

Shooting vests

What benefits does a shooting vest provide?

A vest helps stabilize the shooter and over time conforms to a shooting position and helps the shooter return to that consistent position with each shot.

It's one of those things that new shooters never believe they need even though all the experienced shooters use them. If you care at all about hitting targets, you need a vest and Chris Winstead makes the best vest by far.

Also take note of the extra wide shoulder flap on the shooter's trigger-finger side. When in shooting position, that extra wide flap will wrap around the butt of the rifle, providing some extra friction to help hold the butt firmly in the pocket of the shoulder.
Wheelgun,
Thank you so much for having put your video together and for Sophia to put up this page. Nice job!! RFC is another place where Metallic Silhouette has additional information into the sport. Pictures/Video can be louder than words!
Congratulations!!

Being a new shooter in the sport, your presentation was informative & very helpful. One note, do yu known any good web sites for purchasing gear & accessories. Thank again.
What kind of gear and accessories are you looking for?

General firearms websites like Midway and Brownells are good places to start. More specialized items can be found at places like Champions Choice and Good Shooting inc.

Let us know what you're looking for and I'm sure we can point you in the right direction.

Lastly, this forum is very good but there is a bit more silhouette-specific info over on the Steel Chickens website and forum.
That video was perfect, just what I was looking for. Thank you!
