I have a friend that wants to buy my stainless 10/22, but I'm not sure what to ask for it. Includes Ramline stock and original, original 10 shot clip and 2 Ramline 30 shots, scope and mount and is in excellant condition. Anybody got an idea.
Well the gun, if its bull barrel is worth $300-$350 new.
Used SS 10/22 Rugers I see them for $225-$275 wholesale in good shape.
The 25 round clips sell for about $40 to $65 used.
The scope and mounts are the worst investment you can make, A lot of times you just give it away with the price of the gun, unless its some sort of special scope.
As for the stock, it's one of those custom work deals you seem to never get your money out of.
My guess without seeing the gun is ask $400-$450 and see what he says. If he's not a good friend ask $500. It all depends on if it is a cheapy scope or a couple of hundred bucks scope, on my asking price if it were my gun. Hope this helps
