I couldn't find a preexisting photo thread for B-14R owners, but thought we could use one now that Bergara finally got its own standalone subforum. 😃

Ok, I'll bite....... B14 - R steel barrel, Trigger Tech Special @ 18 oz, Bergara 20 moa rail, Meopta Optica 6 4.5 - 27 x 50 in Sekins low rings,.supported by an Accu Tac BR - 4 bi-pod, and toned down with an AB suppressor "Little Bird". The only weak link in this set up is the operator . This gun is so much more capable than me. So, that only leaves one thing to blame...................ME!

I love that some of you guys chose the Meopta Optika6 riflescope for your rig. I have seen a lot of rimfire guys stepping all the way up to the Optika6 4.5-27x50 option. Aim small miss small, plus big fun really extending the range of your rifle.

Love my Optika 6 5-30x56. Love it so much I bought 2 more and now all of my rifles have the same glass.
Sold a nightforce and gave a Trijicon away.

Can't get a much better testimony than that. That Optika6 5-30x56 is a beast of an optic and guys use it in so many different ways. I have seen it used on a .17 pellet rifle because of the parallax adjustment down to 25 yards.

Vudoo mags seem to be much easier to find than Bergara mags, so I decided to give one a shot. I'm pleased to report that with some very minor fitting (filed down the rear left feed lip just enough to clear the ejector) it fits and functions perfectly in my B-14R. Still have to be careful not to put any pressure on the magazine while shooting, but that's not a big deal. I went ahead and ordered a 3-pack so I'll soon have four reliable mags - hopefully, anyway!

I have to say I'm not very impressed with the design of the Anarchy Outdoors bolt handle. The swept handle absolutely feels better than the straight factory piece, but it was extremely difficult to torque sufficiently thanks to its miniscule wrench flats. They should have extended that portion at least another quarter of an inch further down the handle instead of cutting those ugly (presumably "stylish"), nonfunctional patterns into the nut. The handle came loose today even though I'd tightened and loctited it as much as I possibly could. Only shot 60 rounds so I wasn't exactly being hard on the gun.

Good looking rifle! I've got to admit, these B14r's are pretty sexy (and very capable) right out of the box!
