I think if anyone wants to put buffers to a test try them in a 10/22 WMR -.17 conversion.
Dont they wear out quickly from taking a pounding?
Go over to the 10/22 Magnum Forum and ask which buffer the guys use in their Mags and .17 HMR conversions. :D
My Lifetime Warranty still stands on those, as well. ;)

What buffers do you have?
I ordered a WK first of this weak
Oops. Didn't catch this earlier!

I carry WeaponKraft (WK) Buffers; the ones that I actually manufacture myself.
I mainly sell only my own products.
Since WeaponKraft Products are all made one at a time, by me, I have total final quality control.
I like things this way because I can put a personal guarantee on everything I make.
My Buffers and Socket Head Takedown Screws were how things got started but (after numerous requests) I also carry a few Volquartsen, and Ruger Factory components as well.
WeaponKraft is probably about the smallest of the RFC Sponsors, and will likely stay that way…. But then again ya' never know! ;)

Thanks RFC!

There are several schools of thought on that particular issue. The answer is "whatever configuration works in your gun".
I left the secondary "extractor" in place in my own Magnum, but a lot of people take it out. The best thing you can do is shoot it with the VQ Extractor and the secondary extractor in place and see how it cycles.
If you're still having problems, try removing the secondary extractor and running with only the VQ in place. One or the other should get you there, but it depends on variables such as barrel brand (chambers dimensions can vary), what brand and type of ammo you're trying in that particular barrel, etc, as well as the extractor set-up. Time to experiment! :D

Hope this helps a bit! - Dakotan
