My recently acquired Wooster stock was clearly inlet for a person with very long fingers and I'm the opposite. 2 hours in the shop last night fixed that.

I had the same issue with the stock on my Model 70. When I inletted the stock, it seemed fine but, as I shot it more, it was too much of a reach to that trigger. I ended up cutting the trigger and adding about 3/16 inch to move it back. Always a slow learner, when I made the stock for my model 52, I made the same mistake and ended up having to modify that trigger as well. I have to mention, the modifications had no effect whatsoever on my scores. WH

In the past trigger reach was pretty noticeable in scores. I haven't shot this rifle at a target offhand yet so we'll see how it goes tomorrow at our monthly match.
Interested to hear how the match went with your new rig.

Middling. I haven't found exactly how it wants to be held and I was perhaps 2 animals below my average.
BUT my scores were very consistent.

Also I haven't done much of any ammo testing at 100m.
