If it is the 1407-U9 two stage trigger, the large screw in front of the trigger is for the two stage take-up. Turn it counter clockwise to reduce the length of take-up. If you have a hole in the side of the stock, the screw you can see through that hole is the trigger weight. To increase the weight, turn that screw clockwise. If you turn the screw through the stock too far out, you will have cocking problems. The two stage trigger blade can be adjusted back and forth for finger position whereas the single stage trigger cannot. That is one way you can tell them apart. Hope this helps.
