I don't play in NFA land, but if I were I'd have the pro-shop at the range I'm a member of do it. They allow conjugal visits. :) I even took advantage of that while waiting for my 3 federal business days on a pistol. Hint - unless you have a CCW or a range/shop to transfer through, don't buy a pistol the day before Thanksgiving.

My Ruger 10/22 Take Down integral barrel took 7 months and 5 days from mail to pick up last October. I am now just under 1 month in on my Ruger Silent SR 22 can.
Can only hope it is under 7 months.

Got the call

SilencerCo Sparrow
Purchased: 5/18/2018
Check Cashed: 5/25/2018
Approved: 3/12/2019
Stamp and Sparrow in hand: 3/18/2019

Ten months to the day from time of purchase to pickup at LGS

What a lesson in managing dissappointment. The whole process is a crock.

Two cans purchased 5/23/18 from Silencer Shop
Got out of detainment 4/4/19

The local shop I used for the transfer also got some stamps in that same day for items purchased in December 2017 though... 45 weeks could have been a lot longer

.22lr and 9mm cans on a initial Trust application, 10 months 11 days, could have been worse but still ridiculous .
