The 880SS I ordered came in yesterday and I went and got it today. I traded in the Savage MKII LB I had just bought from the guy (who now I consider to be a friend). I had bought the Savage from him two weeks ago for $209 and I traded it in today and he allowed me $200 on it toward the 880SS. I did slick up and remove slope on the trigger on it. The price on the 880SS was $228. Just a few dollars higher than Wal-Marts special order price.
I am much happier with this rifle. The magizine is light years better. The mag well and catch are much better, too. Other than that, there are many similarities.
