Don't wiggle or twist the barrel loose. After taking out the V-block, if the barrel is sticking a little bit, I work the action letting the bolt hit the back of the barrel. Some people suggest other methods, but this is really no different than closing the bolt on an empty chamber. If it still doesn't come loose, I use a paint stripper/heat gun to gently heat up the receiver to expand it. I have heard about someone here using a dowel set-up, but this works for me. For installation, slide the new barrel into the receiver. If it is too tight of a fit to slide in (hopefully :) ) you can heat up the receiver with a heat gun or an oven, then the barrel will slide right in. I usually put a shot of break free on the mating surface. Nothin to it!
