WELCOME TO THE WATERING HOLE

A stress-free place to gather and share whatever is on your mind! A fun place of mutual respect where you can hang your hat, vent, relax and shoot the bull for a while!

Happy Easter to all who celebrate that faith.

To all others, Happy Spring!

Easter symbolizes a new beginning, so it is fitting that TWH has a new beginning as well!
Along with RFC, TWH has been remodeled!

Actually, it can be anything you imagine it to be!

I am happy to announce that due to the increased bandwidth of the new RFC, there is no longer a need for the weekly closing and re-opening of TWH!!! After 10+ years of weekly "flipping" we now get to keep the doors open continuously! My sincere thanks to our moderators, especially Sophia, for making this possible!

I would also like to thank all the members who have kept this boat afloat for so long! We have become like family here, and now have a permanent residence! (y) While we have many long-time members who have been enjoying the company found in this amazing virtual bar, we also welcome all new folks. Jump right in! The first drink is always on the house and Veterans always have an open bar!
Al The Infidel (Tubby Slayer extraordinaire) is the bar manager.

So, let's get this re-opening celebration going! Set 'em up, Al! Drinks all around!!!

I need to make groceries some time soon. Out of Cheese Whiz for crackers.

Have a great night Rhody.
Roto tilling with a 1960’s Sears tiller I brought back from the dead, kind of. Rear wheels were seized on the back tire 5/8ā€ bolts. Beat them out with a drilling hammer and greased up one side. Other side was really stuck and buggered up the threads so one wheel installed.

Got it running this morning and dragged it over to the garden spot for a cruise through the garden spot. All thick cast iron and weighs about 400lbs. Wants to till at a 45° angle with one wheel missing and what a workout. Guess that’s why I really had no interest in getting it running again from years ago. Ticker has survived thus far but run out of liquid to sweat out.

When I was over at my brother inlaws looking at his smoker, he showed me my grandpa's old troybilt tiller he fixed up. I borrowed it once back in the day. Dog ran out in front of me and it got launched though the sliding window on my new truck. Dog survived. Window not so much.

A reg. size poly tub 2 wheeler with steel wheel bearings moved approx. 20 tons or more of ceement, sand, and gravel to build my 50'L seawall and still works fine since 04. My only advice is to grease the bearings. I liked it so much I got another for the house.

Isn’t Lyrica some prescription drug? May have caught their TV ad making happy people with really fast talking side effects in tiny print.

Yeah what do you expect from a pharmacy tech. My internal spell check has been over run by medical terms.

Happy Hunting... :giggle:
Has anyone posted an unobtanium gun to bait the scammers in the trading post?
Mark down pork loin, wm bag salad, Green Giant steamable veggies. Pretty good dinner.

I'm thinking about taking my 457, my umarex 1911 .22 and suppressor to the range. Also my 9mm shield that I put a red dot on. That is after I've had my steak omelet on the hill.

Good night
I bet pharmacy techs get lots of free swag from big pharma for peddling their goods. Under the lab coat has to be some great tee shirts.

Usta fabricate and install Corian wet walls for high dollar homes. Hansa made a shower head system that would hit you from all angles like a dishwasher. Their t-shirt said, ā€œ Hansa cleanse thyself big time.ā€

No Swag I dont work in that type of place and the government cut a lot of that out. If you notice the paper on the doctorr beds are plain know. Pharma is not allowed to provide it anymore.

One of best tee shirts I’ve seen and wish I had was from the World Dairy Expo. Folks at the American Breeders Association had tee shirt.. ā€œWe stand behind our workā€

At the fertilizer company where I worked for a few year, we had ā€œConnoisseurs of manureā€œ tee shirt.
