"The Devil made me do it!" :devilish:

A beautiful sunny day here in the northeast!

We all will be gathering at my mom's house this afternoon to celebrate her 88th birthday! She is still doing well after all these years, thank the good Lord!

Hoping to get some garden stuff done before heading over there.

Y'all have a great day!

This presupposes the weather is conducive to such things, o'course...
I'm not sure the weather would make much difference if said participants were determined enough!
Well, that is unless it was really cold.........Then again, where there is a will, there is a way! :)

Thanks guys!

She has all the aches and pains that come with being on this earth for close to 9 decades, but she is still feisty and sharp as a tack! My sister decided that we would make it a Swedish take-out day so no one would have to cook!

It's always great to get the family together!

Hey gang!
Today was a good workday. Pretty much uneventful and stress free! I wish every day was like that.

I dropped my riding lawnmower off to be serviced today. The poor thing is a hot mess! Along with needing the basic oil change, filters, etc, it needs to have the blades replaced (both standard bagging blades and mulching blades), a wheel bracket re-welded to the deck, two new deck wheels, a new attachment installed to secure the bagging flue to the deck and a new topper for the bagger. Methinks this is going to be costly!

I plan on staying home tonight and behaving! 😇

Playoff Game one between the Bruins/Carolina Al. Pretty exciting 1st period despite neither team scoring.

Good morning all!!!

Toiling on a drizzy morning. It's supposed to clear up in time for the first day of my golf league later today! Looking forward to getting out there.
I had to miss last season because I was out for repairs. I doubt I will play well, but we shall see!

Have a great day everyone!

A long but good week.

Good morning......er.....afternoon all!
I might have had a bit too much fun last night! I am glad that I got to sleep late today. It is kind of a crappy day here with clouds and high winds. I plan on getting a few things done outside after a workout.

Happy Hunting... :giggle:
It was an enjoyable hunt! I hung out with a few gals I already knew and got the number of a new one that I will be seeing soon. (y)

Whew!! Congrats Rhody! Bar's buying a round for the Bruin's victory.
Stayin' alive, Stayin' alive ! (BeeGees)!
They are still being seriously outplayed. I don't think we have a chance to advance past these guys.

For those of you in Michigan…..and probably the rest of us as well. Crazy!!!
Brent
Was the car's name Christine???

Kinda like when the news says that a person was killed by a gun. I put a shotgun in the corner for over a week once just to see what it would do. It just stayed put. It didn't even point itself at anyone!

Happy Birthday to the bride!

The new M&P 2.0 is likely going back to S&W. The striker tip looks to be misshapen and is almost piercing the primers with all ammo I tried in it. Will be sending Smith some pics and see what they say.

While I was at the LGS I spotted a Springfield SA 35. Couldn't resist and brought it home with me.
S&W has always given me great service. I hope they fix things for you.

Congrats on the Spr. SA35.

I have been eyeballing that for a while myself. Please let us know how it shoots when you get it.

I'm going to go through the SA 35 and give it a good cleaning this weekend. Will try to make it to the range next weekend. Will let y'all know how it works out.
Thanks! Looking forward to your review.
It seems that there are several gunmakers providing their own versions of JMBs iconic High Power. I just read the American Rifleman's review of the Turkish made EAA GirsanMCP35. Not really impressed with it, but have several Springers and like the workmanship and reliability of them.

Good reloading report Don! (y)

I handled one at the LGS but they also had the Sig P210 fixed sight for only about $100 more and there was no contest for me at least but that's why they make such a variety of firearms.

That is a sweet looking gun Gerald. Good luck with it!!!
Check out the crumb catchers on the woman behind the Dallas bench Rhody. 😇
I sure did!!!😳 😍😍😍

Happy Mother's Day to all our RFC Moms!!!

I had a good day today. Started off with sleeping late and then going to visit my mom!
Afterward I stopped at a local bar to watch the Bruins game. They won! (y)

Once home, I got the lawn mowed and the new string lights hung up in the gazebo!
Staying in now and chilling out. I will probably watch a movie and then get to bed early so as to be well rested for work tomorrow!

Congrats on the Bruins 2 in a row Rhody.
Thanks! They need to stay focused now!
