Good lookin' werk on the backstop, 57, even if it's not quite to yer liking just yet. A bit more tweaking should duit, eh?

Nice 'rangement, sails but I like the car-siding ceiling the mostest.

Funny and fine puddle jumper pics, cow!

Got in a good power nap after my last post. The day was a long one but got a lot of tedium [ducks in a row] dealt with that required multiple tweaks of my own. Felt like I'd been jousting all day and got knocked off my steed, more than once. Back in the saddle now and ready for the flag to drop, so that I can officially... go to sleep. Tomorrow should be much easier.

Mornin',

55 and humid, clouds and 76 today with rain later. Then chilly for the rest of the week.

About to order new beds and mattresses. Using a tax free and free delivery special saving a good chunk of change, considering the money we are spending. Nothing beats good sleep.

My sight elevation wheel should arrive today, that will get me closer to getting to shoot the old Mossberg. Now if the wind would ever stop blowing. I thought maybe it was my imagination, but doing some weather research, we have had an unusual number of more windy days this spring than normal. Goes along with the temperature swings we have seen caused by different weather patterns.

Have a great day.

Back to the range with 3 10/22's, the LVT did well, the 22" Walnut stocked did pretty good and the Kidd barreled, CPC'd puked all over the place...oh well.
So I have learned to be nice and always ask.
Yeah on that!
It's raining...

In spite of it all, we made it down to the south park for a trial run with the latest camera.
I like it well enough... (288 pics today)
Few tweaks and I'll be good to go.

Same here in Texas. The weather guessers say the average wind speed this month is 14.2 mph. Has not been this windy this month in Texas since 1992. Windy and warm so far.

At this point not a clue, thinking I know why the rifle with this barrel was for sale so cheap though, I sent the barreled action off to Randy at CPC, installed it in its current stock then promptly forgot about it until recently and decided to take it to the range with the other 10/22's. So far its the worst shooting 10/22 I've every owned.

and as it is now...

I'm open to suggestions.

We have gotten 3 mattresses on Amazon, but only paid for 2. I wanted to try one of the no springs foam mattresses. I liked it, but Sabrina didn’t. Submitted a return on it and they refunded my money ($600) and said keep it. A coworker ended up with a free mattress. We only used it a few nights and had a new mattress cover on it during that time. I checked later and my coworker said he and his wife loved it. We ordered a spring mattress for half the price and both are pleased with it. It’s actually better than any mattress store bought ones we’ve had before. We’ve got the same one on our guest bedroom bed and Sabrina’s parents like sleeping on it whenever they have spent the night. Others may have had different experiences buying online, sight unseen. With Amazon’s refund policy, I figured it was worth a try.

Sure looked better dressed in black & silver IMO. Was it tested by Randy or whomever in the B&S?

Welcome and first one's on the house Cowboy!

Its still snowing and turning white out and are all them poor hungry nesting blackbirds shivering hungrily? Al the grinch wondered to himself gleefully.

This last cold front has it knocked down to 49° @ 6A, RH 80% wind NW 5 under a few clouds. It'll be sunny and warm to the mid 70's today & tomorrow, but it will remain breezy as things warm, and the winds return from the S. Low tonight is forecast to be 54. Slept soundly, having made some good progress on assorted 'stuff' that needed tackling.

Friend in Budapest sent me this dynamic link on US immigration over time. I found it rather interesting, so thot to share:

Hope the range time is productive in getting that recalcitrant 10/22 sorted, Gerald. W/o knowing didley about it, it almost sounds like it's rebarrel it time or move it on down the road as trading fodder on the next 'gotta have it'. I guess you could try recrowning and possibly doing a 'set back' and rechambering as well, but the cost & time factors would likely be more than whot a new barrel might be had for.

Time to get that first cup o'joe. Y'all have a good one!
