We made it to the eastern park, got rained on a couple of times, nothing special...

Saw several eagles and misc ducks, goosies... the usual suspects!

Already got to 41F, no rain expected, only clouds.

Ordered a new lens for the latest camera.
Wide-angle, my 10-20mm does not fit this camera, ordered a 24-85mm from Nikon.
Unexpected but no biggie...
This is a full-frame camera, I should be set. I've got other full-frame lenses that run between 105mm to 600mm.

Breakfast first then a run down to the river to see what we can see

The Smigma 10-20 is good on full frame from 16-20mm or in menu just choose DX when it’s installed. With the crop factor set at 1.6x the 10-20 works down to around 13mm. Still a great lens but I use my Tamron SP 17mm f3.5 manual lens more on full frame if I want wide.

We went to the river then over to the south park.

Love the picture of the engine. Would like to see an up close shot of the turbine fan blades.
So, does a jet get pushed or pulled through the air?

This is about the best pic. Right from the bow-wing parking lot. 737s are made here.
The body of the plane is made in China, the wings, the tail assembly and the engines go on here.

Today we'll go down to the dog park (aka, heron hatchery) for a few hours, then errands to run.

Sometime this PM FedEx is gonna deliver a new lens for the latest camera.
It's on the truck for local delivery, should make it here this afternoon
