WELCOME TO THE WATERING HOLE

A stress-free place to gather and share whatever is on your mind! A fun place of mutual respect where you can hang your hat, vent, relax and shoot the bull for a while!

Happy Easter to all who celebrate that faith.

To all others, Happy Spring!

Easter symbolizes a new beginning, so it is fitting that TWH has a new beginning as well!
Along with RFC, TWH has been remodeled!

Actually, it can be anything you imagine it to be!

I am happy to announce that due to the increased bandwidth of the new RFC, there is no longer a need for the weekly closing and re-opening of TWH!!! After 10+ years of weekly "flipping" we now get to keep the doors open continuously! My sincere thanks to our moderators, especially Sophia, for making this possible!

I would also like to thank all the members who have kept this boat afloat for so long! We have become like family here, and now have a permanent residence! (y) While we have many long-time members who have been enjoying the company found in this amazing virtual bar, we also welcome all new folks. Jump right in! The first drink is always on the house and Veterans always have an open bar!
Al The Infidel (Tubby Slayer extraordinaire) is the bar manager.

So, let's get this re-opening celebration going! Set 'em up, Al! Drinks all around!!!

Yes on the low range gear Wolf. It took me up the Iron Mt ski hill I was too skeert to go back down.
How did ever get back down?
Thanks guys.

ETA- the 180 was a Honda also but no standing flat footed when stopped by any means. Trail 90 was like a moped on steroids.
When back in high school, Suzuki had a 185 road/ trail bike that we all lusted for. One of my friends was able to get one. He liked that bike so much he rode it all winter. I remember watching him one time in a snowstorm taking off when the light changed green. Back end swished back and forth while both legs were to the sides acting as stabilizers. He did lay it down twice that winter.
How did ever get back down?
Took the easier route.
it looks like there is stuff hanging off the front that may not like two tracks.
And the bad news; the air dam in the front has a secondary active one behind it that drops down @ 40mph according to the tech. He knew nothing about electronically disabling and removing them so I can ram thru the snowbanks left by the city plows when necessary. I have yet to dig deeper into it. Its the one thing I usually remove from a new vehicle.
Nice, Al ... (y) (y)

Went down to the river, saw 7 eagles... WOW!

Saw two Caspian terns. The first this year.

We were in this place, out on the dock with a bitter wind.
Looking north at the Olympic mountains (merely 65 miles away).
Makes a good backdrop for photos when we can see 'em...

Ram Longhorn Limited Lon.

Is cat torturing legal there?

I've done a few successful beddings but pillerless.
Dr Gunner has a good tutorial if you can find it KS.

Busy morning with lots of calorie free fat chewing exploring accessories such as graphics and ceramic durability etc..

Finn insisted on mwa in the pic. Graphics on the rear storage bins aka Ram Boxes, will be done when the graphics arrive, or later in this world of whenever.

Sweet ride Al!!! (y)
Good luck with it!

It was a good day at work today. The weather was nicer than yesterday, and it was a steady but not a crazy physical day. No boiler sections required relocation! (y):):)

Once home, I did a few hours of garden work. I had to relocate the wooden boards to which I staple the chicken wire fencing. Gotta keep the varmints out of the newly built garden section. I'm staying in tonight so as to be feeling good for work tomorrow. Currently watching Toronto beat up on the Red Sox

Way nicer.
Aviation is 10-15 years behind the automotive industry in the nice cockpit department.
With a magenta background?
In truth I thought there would be snow on the ground.

Almost as bad as RFC's new format. 😇 Is everyone that likes a dark background a pilot? Al wondered to himself over his head.
