WELCOME TO THE WATERING HOLE

A stress-free place to gather and share whatever is on your mind! A fun place of mutual respect where you can hang your hat, vent, relax and shoot the bull for a while!

Happy Easter to all who celebrate that faith.

To all others, Happy Spring!

Easter symbolizes a new beginning, so it is fitting that TWH has a new beginning as well!
Along with RFC, TWH has been remodeled!

Actually, it can be anything you imagine it to be!

I am happy to announce that due to the increased bandwidth of the new RFC, there is no longer a need for the weekly closing and re-opening of TWH!!! After 10+ years of weekly "flipping" we now get to keep the doors open continuously! My sincere thanks to our moderators, especially Sophia, for making this possible!

I would also like to thank all the members who have kept this boat afloat for so long! We have become like family here, and now have a permanent residence! (y) While we have many long-time members who have been enjoying the company found in this amazing virtual bar, we also welcome all new folks. Jump right in! The first drink is always on the house and Veterans always have an open bar!
Al The Infidel (Tubby Slayer extraordinaire) is the bar manager.

So, let's get this re-opening celebration going! Set 'em up, Al! Drinks all around!!!

I raise my hand to that one with a full stock octagon muzzleloader barrel. They become one permanently even with release agent and freezing the whole stock and barrel. A tomahawk would have removed it though.
I Heard that Rhody is are resident bedding expert.

I'm looking at diesel heaters for the truck right now.

I have the Schwinn tricycle I bought for my Mother so many years ago.
I used to ride it, a bit.
I thought about putting a battery, solar panel, charge controller and an electric motor on it.

You should do that Don, sounds like fun.
az-I heard that as well. ;)

(experimenting with color)
My bud liked my Honda Trail-90 so much he bought it when I moved up to a 180cc.
Al, did your Trail 90 have the low range lever on the transmission? What 180cc did you move up to?

Wish I could find an old Trail 90.
Heat wave @ 50°A. Cloudy with rain to begin shortly again. South winds 9-15 mph. Weasels say 70s on Saturday, but rain today, Friday, Sunday, and Monday as temps slip back into the 40s during the day and lows in the 30s overnight. Tired of the wet and cool temperatures.
Another Ram, Al?
Rumor has it the truck has been replaced?
Ram Longhorn Limited Lon.
Breakfast eaten. Been watching the parent blues bringing breakfast to the kids. Phoebe has been at the window watching with whiskers quivering and making chattering sounds. Cute when she stands up next to the window and looks like she is trying to dig her way through it.

Is cat torturing legal there?

I've done a few successful beddings but pillerless.
Dr Gunner has a good tutorial if you can find it KS.

Busy morning with lots of calorie free fat chewing exploring accessories such as graphics and ceramic durability etc..

Finn insisted on mwa in the pic. Graphics on the rear storage bins aka Ram Boxes, will be done when the graphics arrive, or later in this world of whenever.

I see several a month on Craigs List.
I see several a month on Craigs List.

I've seen a few offered in various places, but most have either been too far away, or poor condition. I don't need any more projects at this time to work on.
Purdy truck Al.

Nice big apple trees, with a nice crop of suckers to boot.
Blackwolfe is this the guide you go by? View attachment 300487
Similar, but in reality, the diagonal line always seems to be a bit further to the left. Some times quite a bit further.
Sharp looking truck,Al.

Early call from Eyr Dr,s office, lens were in, Went and had them put into the old frames, still getting use to seeing.

Warm & sunny, will go out & mow. So it looks like I did something today....

Al, does your new truck still fit in your garage? Neighbor/friend traded in their five year old Ram with on going air suspension issues and new Ram is four inches longer overall than old one (nose and tail gate) thus no longer fits in garage with door closed.

ETA- the 180 was a Honda also but no standing flat footed when stopped by any means. Trail 90 was like a moped on steroids.

Ya oughta see the big tree with bigger beaucoup canes in the BY untrimmed for a couple years. I'm done with em all until branches break as my best handy guy ever is quitting and going to work construction for 2X his present lawn care wages.

Welp I got the junk back in, sound adjusted so it doesn't sound like a 2 bit radio, and change put in the even worse than ever change holder. The dash is too slippery for radar detector and vid recorder. 😳

Dunno about the 4" longer TD as I have more room apparently than your friend does. Width seems the same as the 19.
Pam makes a good release agent, it hasn't failed me yet.

Forgot to start the timer on the fish in the oven. It might be very well done tonight.

When I left work last night we had a problem. My coworker said, we will be working on it in the morning. Two shifts, no progress, we fixed it good enough to run on our shift. Tomorrow I run down spares we will need when it quits again. I love working on things with poor documentation.

Nice truck Al, but it looks like there is stuff hanging off the front that may not like two tracks.

Time to flip the fish and start the veggies .
