WELCOME TO THE WATERING HOLE

A stress-free place to gather and share whatever is on your mind! A fun place of mutual respect where you can hang your hat, vent, relax and shoot the bull for a while!

Happy Easter to all who celebrate that faith.

To all others, Happy Spring!

Easter symbolizes a new beginning, so it is fitting that TWH has a new beginning as well!
Along with RFC, TWH has been remodeled!

Actually, it can be anything you imagine it to be!

I am happy to announce that due to the increased bandwidth of the new RFC, there is no longer a need for the weekly closing and re-opening of TWH!!! After 10+ years of weekly "flipping" we now get to keep the doors open continuously! My sincere thanks to our moderators, especially Sophia, for making this possible!

I would also like to thank all the members who have kept this boat afloat for so long! We have become like family here, and now have a permanent residence! (y) While we have many long-time members who have been enjoying the company found in this amazing virtual bar, we also welcome all new folks. Jump right in! The first drink is always on the house and Veterans always have an open bar!
Al The Infidel (Tubby Slayer extraordinaire) is the bar manager.

So, let's get this re-opening celebration going! Set 'em up, Al! Drinks all around!!!

Maybe the whole barrel is one long carbon ring? Al wondered too himself.

Finn wanted to put the air on to rid the joint of humidity, huh? Heck no, plenty of time to freeze me in dry cold air in the future. She's more sturdy than I.

Veggie grub run today and playing bumper cars with other shoppers. In tuther store, night before last, the employee who was checking #s and what to order left his cart with clipboard etc. blocking the aisle. No respect I tell ya!

Toiling went well.
This came in and sorely tempted me. The devil it is.

After toiling I went to the bank to pay for my Franklin Armory 10/22 trigger housing that came in.
Brought Pizza back to the shop and scarfed down a lunch.
Then went and got my ears lowered.

Came home and made these.

I ended up taking the seating die apart and reshaping the seating stem. It was cutting into the ogive, as you can see on a few here. Reshaped, polished, and problem solved. Seat depths are spot on.
Separate crimp with a Lee FCD. Plunk test in my Lyman Case Gauge suggests all it well.
We'll see how it works in a few firearms before making another 450. The bullets are cast and ready. The brass is primed and belled. The powder measure is full. Ready and itching to geaux, but I kneaux that it's a mistake to geaux before testing.

Next week's project is more 5.56, I think. I've got three hundred pieces of brass primed and ready to load, so an easy task. Even the powder measure is set.
Which reminds me, I need to order more stipper clips to store this ammo on., In bandoliers, of course.

Hi there John. Happy Birthday.

Flex Seal.

I have the sig p365 XL, it is great, good round count and very concealable. I like it a LOT.
Was wanting the 17 round mag, but have not found them yet.
