IN! On the first, from the looks of it.

Edit to add: It will be interesting to see how this one progresses. I'll miss the "Last" wars (although many won't) but I guess we still have to take turns sweeping up the sprinkles.

Range was shut today, so range day is Monday this week. Not sure what's coming with me, but it will be a 22, and maybe a 32. Probably both German in origin.

Time will tell - in the meantime, I hope you all had/are having a wonderful Easter.

Good morning all!

I just ran across something regarding membership fees. If you are signed up for your membership to be automatically renewed and paid more than the current $20 fee, you will be billed the old higher rate automatically unless you cancel your subscription. Your membership will continue until the expiration date and resigning up will be at the current price. I know that I paid $40 in December for the “Bronze” level. Gold and Silver were much higher. I would hate to think of someone continuing to pay $100 or more for a level that no longer exists. From what I understand, it’s a flat $20 fee for membership. Anyway, I just wanted to give a heads up in case there are any signed up to auto renew their memb

Brent
Thanks, Brent!! You saved me some green there. Now, I just have to remember to re-up in November before this current on runs out. :D

First off, Happy Anniversary, Mr and Mrs Wayne! Many congrats!

Secondly, my range day today didn't involve either of the remote paper-punches I was planning on yesterday, but turned into a Sig day. With 3 different ammos to play with.

The Browning "Range and Practice" was acceptable - no flyers, reasonable little-ish group. The Freedom Munitions ammo that I was expecting to be the worst (coz it was the cheapest) was actually very good, or I had hit my stride perfectly when I got to it. And the Sig "Elite Performance" was terrible - or I was just tired by then. :) But a further 5 shot group with the others kinda proved it wasn't me....

Good morning, though - greatly enjoyed, and a clear road through the twisties on the way home so I got to play there as well. :D

The writer, or the local PD commenting, need to have a better understanding of tools. They state it has a drill bit for a firing pin, when in fact it is a torx bit or an allen bit. Hard to tell. :D

Waiting for a shipment of boxes from Colorado - Fedex seems uncertain where they are or when they'll be delivered, but one of the 6 packages MAY be delivered today....

And Yes, 6 shipments, containing 21 boxes total to make something like this:

Property Bookcase Furniture Shelf Book

Emptied that end of the room yesterday - this whole wall is clear now....

Picture frame Wood Lighting Shelving Shelf

And Oh, Yes - I do subscribe to the saying that a clean desk is a sign of a sick mind... :D

And a gate to keep you in?
Officially, the gate is to keep out the dog, so she doesn't jog my elbow when I'm trying to finesse a hull shape (her favorite method of getting attention is jogging elbows)

Unofficially, it is to keep me in, of course. Most of the time it is unlatched with a self-closer that the dog knows how to use both ways. But if I'm deep in 3D stuff, it gets clicked shut. :geek:

<snips!>

FedEx has a delivery to be delivered today, have to sign for it :)
Of course that means no goin' down to the park till delivery is made. Oh, well...

<moar snips>
Waiting on them here as well, but no guarantee they're actually coming today. Tracking says delivery today, but location update still in the next state over....

Of course, I signed up for "tracking updates" which means nothing. <sigh>

Fedex tracking is worthless, I absolutely despise that company but a lot of vendors use them...:mad:
Yup.

On Thursday, they said "Estimated delivery Friday", so we sat around waiting. At 3:00pm they said "Oops! Update! Estimated Saturday", so we sat around until 2:30 when they said "Confirmed - delivery Sunday."

So I canceled my long-standing Sunday range morning (must remember to phone Dennis - he worries) and here we are. Waiting again.

I mean, there's plenty to do here, but I could be out doing something else... :(

Ok groanards, I need some advice on what might be arthritis in my hands. Working with steel all day every day, has my hands in constant pain. Mostly it the knuckles in my fingers. Also, experiencing trigger finger on my right hand. It's painful, and one of my fingers is usually stuck in a flexed position when I wake up. I really don't want to take any medication, because I don't like taking pills. Maybe some sort of OTC joint inflammation supplement or cream? I ordered something like relief factor that should be here soon. Hoping that will afford some relief.

The side effects that go along with most arthritis meds are terrible! 😬

R
I had a good friend who used to dip his fingers in pure WD40 every morning when it was bad. He claimed it helped....

(No guarantees implied or given - side effects may occur that I know nothing about.)
