This little gadget is a winner compared to the BSA universal laser, and I haven't even mounted it yet.

It starts with an all metal body, reasonable weather sealing (O ringed fittings), a simple on/off push button, and a battery compartment that won't spit batteries into the air on guns that have recoil. Same price as BSA's 29.99 at cabelas. The laser is about the same brightness as the BSA but a little more focused allowing for a hundred yard or so increase in visible distance in the dark(I can see it's dot at a 1/4 mile in natural surroundings.) The weakest part is the lame tip off mount provided, but being metal and tubular I'll just make a custom mount for whatever it needs. Lastly I haven't tested it's adjustments or repeatability, ( BSA suffers bad in those categories too, so it should be easy to match or improve there.)
