Woo Hoo! The Hows’s have landed!
The Howas Are Here, The Howas Are Here !!!
Welp, after 5-6 months of wait time, the Howas have finally arrived, I picked them up at 5 pm. They are a Howa M1100, 18” barrel, 22LR, synthetic OD stock, came with 2, 10 shot mags.
I got them all set up with my usual open/iron sight configuration. Depending on the predicted, anticipated or expect 6-8” of snow on Saturday, I’m planning a range day, the initial test out the Howas, the CZ 457 Varimint MTR, and the final test outing of the Savage B22 Precision #3. So 4 rifles, it will be a full day.

Range Day - 3/4/23
The winter storm, that they were pontificating about, gave me 3” of snow, that by the time I got home had melted away, not the major winter storm they were warning us about. I gave the driveway a quick cleaning and was at the remote range by 7 am. As usual for that time, not a soul anywhere...
