I fired targets at all tuner settings on the whole revolution. Clearly there were two nodes that appeared on at 2 turns out and another at 11 turns out. I decided to work the first node by itself. I shot from 0 revolutions to 3 revolutions with very similar results.

Clearly 2 revolutions out was the best setting, cutting the baseline bottomed out setting down to a group 1/3 of the size. This was a significant reduction in group size. Now it is time to fine tune the setting. I shot groups at 1.75 revolutions, 2.0 revolutions and 2.25 revolutions. Each ¼ revolution moves the tuner approximately .010". The difference .010" makes is impressive and only goes to prove the sensitive nature of tuning .22 rimfire rifle.

There is further testing to do as I can see that when we get out to 3 revolutions accuracy started to open up. There is the potential for slightly better accuracy between 2.00 and 2.75 revolutions. I will break the next groups down to 1/10 revolutions and shoot 10 shot groups conditions permitting to see if there is a slightly better setting to be found.

Tuner: DE Terminator Tuner
What does the tuner look like?
That's a good looking tuner.

I'm about to embark on figuring out how to tune a rifle with a Harrell tuner.

Was the baseline group size established as a result of a single five-shot-group? Were the groups shot at each respective tuner setting one group of three shots only?
The base line group was fired with 5 rounds single group, the tuner settings were all fired 3 shot groups a single in an effort to get into the "zone" quickly and then fine tune from there. I intend to shoot multiple 5 shot groups or 10 shot groups now that I have homed in pretty close the the best setting.

Glad you like the looks, my first priority was performance of course but I like nice, well executed, next level looking stuff.
13.1 oz as you see it in the pic, that is at max weight.
What is the length of the bare tuner and what are the sizes of any additional weights?

Shawn, Question on the target and groups you got. was your POA center of the bull ? if this is correct your POA was center, where did your first and last shot land in correlation of POA

I am asking because the 1-Rev out group, if the first shot was the one at about 11-o'clock and the next two were centered. IMO the setting is below 2-rev out
probably between .75-1.50 out
one last thing you don't want shots to go left of POA at anytime when tuning.

Boy Lee, those are gems. Any expansion would be much appreciated. Can you explain a bit further as to why/how you can interpret the order of the shots. And the second, can you provide any explanation as to why we should not be tempted to pursue tunes with a left POA. Any other gems like these you can think of along these lines would be great. As soon as I post this I'm going for the mail to check for my tuner. Thanks.
Lee,

Sorry this took so long, the first shot according to my testing log was the 3:00 shot then 11:00 then 7:00. POA was center of target, however I didn't have a super solid zero on the scope prior to installing the tuner, just close.
Here is the newest version of the Terminator Tuner, we have been doing a ton of testing on several rifle so that the production run is perfect when we make them.

Very interesting, I am experimenting with weight collars that look very similar.
the weight is in the 14 gram or less not a lot of weight.
