I see several Bushnell and Tasco varmit scopes on ebay. One is a Tasco
6-24x40 model#MAG624X40 and one is a Bushnell 6-24 x 42mm Model # VAR624X42M. Are any of you guys familiar with either of these two scopes??

Welcome to RFC! :Welcome: Those appear to be current models. I just sold a NIB Target/Varmint VAR624X42M for $75 shipped, it had ok optics, but nothing to rave about, the 44 Mag, WTC 18 and Simmons ATV have it beat for not much, if any more, money.

Which series Simmons do you think has the highest optical quality between the 44 and the WTC?
I like the look of product# SN801056, which is on Natchez.
The only thing is I have never used a scope with a mil dot.
Can one hunt tree squirrels and target shoot with a mil dot reticle?
I will have to see if my local dealer has a scope with a mil dot so I can
see exactly how one looks. The main dealer I use has few if any Simmons scopes in stock and no target/varmit scopes with an AO other than a bushnell that was 3.5-10 x32.
As always I appreciate your help.
