Today our local club, the Fort Valley Gun Club, Fort Valley, Georgia, shot a .22 Benchrest Match. It's an informal event that is shot at 50 yards on the IBS target. The day was cloudy, cool at 50 degrees and a bit humid. The wind, for once, was light and often almost still. It was the best day to shoot that we've had in quite awhile.

I used my factory stock Suhl Standard 150 with a 46X Weaver T-Series XR scope and Lapua Center-X cartridges. My score of 250-15X was match winner followed by a 250-13X and 250-12X taking second and third respectively. My target is below. I'm really pleased with my Suhl.

Congrats doubs43! Eight X's in a row (bulls 15 tru 22) is hard to accomplish! Better write-down that Center-X lot number! LOL

On a side note, myself and the shooter beside you's rifles didn't like that cold temp in the high humidity. At least that's my guess. And it's always a guess!
Thank you. I hadn't realized that I did indeed shoot 8 X's in a row. I usually have trouble shooting two in a row. LOL. Sadly, I only bought one brick of that lot of Center-X.

It was cool and humid yesterday and no doubt had an effect on how well the guns shot. Thankfully the wind - for once - cooperated.
