If you're going to be in San Antonio during June 17-20 you might want to check out the Sportsmans Team Challenge. It's a great team shoot, and you get a chance to see some great shooters in rifle, pistol, and shotgun matches. They have a web site. It's sportsmansteamchallenge.com

Neither will give a price break or discount, regardless of whether or not you're Law Enforcemnt, Military, etc. You could probably fiddle-fart around all the Pawn Shops in town all day long looking for Pancho Villa's pistol, but truth is not many firearms cross the border into pawn shops (I work on the border). 20 or more years ago, maybe. Now, no.
There's little, or nothing in Las Cruces, N.M. either (40 miles or so west of El Paso), though I hear tell of a decent place out in Deming, N.M. Supposed to have new stuff, mil-surplus, etc. and maybe gives a discount. However, Deming is 70 some miles west of Cruces, so unless you've got absolutely nothing better to do than perhaps go on a wild goose chase. . . . .
Best bet- Give Albuquerque a look, or better still, San Antonio.
