I was just at the range shooting the Mossberg I bought last week. It has Lymon aperture sights. While I was getting it roughly sighted in I realized that even at 25 metres I'm going to need binoculars or a spotting scope. I'm probably going to do most of my shooting at 25 metres, but may also be shooting at 50 metres and 100 metres (the last distance is only if I scope it). Any advice as to the best bang for your buck on spotting scopes. I only shoot for fun. If I can get by with binoculars that I can use for hunting deer, so much the better. Thanks.

Bushnell [B&L], Burris, Leupold, and Nikon make moderately priced spotting scopes.
I have an old "B&L" 'Discover' [15-60X 60mm] that does the job out to 200 yards for me. My buddy has a Kowa.....! ! WOW....! !
Do some reading, and then come back with specific questions....! !
