I am working on a single shot rifle mfg in Romania during the 50's. It has a pretty heafty barrel already, but I wanted to convert it to the .22 mag. From what I have heard from several different people is that the .22 mag is .224, and the .22LR is .223.
I don't want to take a chance of causing an over pressure situation that would damage the barrel or the rest of the gun.
I am wide open to suggestions, I'm still in the planning/ research phase of the project.
