One spring, I believe.
I, myself, have not figured out how to do anything useful at all to a magazine. ( I stick to factory 10-rders)
But get this...
A buddy (more an acquaintance) picked up a frank piece of junk at a show: it is a couple of stick bodied 10-rounders that someone has tried to "glue" together- swears that this was done before the ban. OK...
So this "somewhere between 10 and 20 round" magazine has the body (plastic) somehow connected, and their ORIGINAL springs intertwined, carefully I must say, to make one longer one.
My stubborn acquaintance figures to repair this "pre-ban" with a normal spring, and then use tiny metal staples and epoxy to fix the mag body.
As labor intensive as this sounds, I believe it is legal to repair pre-ban mags.
Somehow, he got me intrigued, so I said I'd look around for a spring or two.
He doesn't do internet.
