Only 2 Nationals so far.

Spot shooting is definetly the way to go. I use the area where the leg stalk meets the body, on chickens and turkeys and the front leg of the pig, all with 1 min added to the dope. Rams, for whatever reason, I take out 1/2 - 3/4 min and aim at the neck... yeah I don't know why I flip the last target, but that's just what feels right to me.
First monthly sb silhouette match is this Saturday 15 at Ridgway.HP is Sunday weather looks good.

If I didn't have an eye doctor appointment Friday I would consider making the trip. Let us know how the match goes.
I'm going tomorrow to Ridgway, making it a one day trip! Debating if I should bring my spotting scope as most people don't really care for a spotter.

7-08 hp ,REM,with Jewel trigger and 6.5x20 Leupold .

Great meeting you 22Sleeper! * I would use real name, but I'm not sure if people like it on the forum. I'm going to ask Tony Tello on SteelChickens or FB, I'm 100% sure fiber optic front is allowed if factory since he is the one that told me the CZ Jaguar is the most desired in Mexico for the sport.

You couldn't ask for better weather today at Ridgway! Even though it was just a monthly, it was ran just as well as their Nationals etc. I can't say it enough how happy I am with how quickly the matches were ran and a massive part of that is due to the great target setters at Ridgway! A lot of times I'm incredibly bored at matches due to targets taking forever to setup or getting the next relay on the line.

I shot an ok match, I would hit a bunch then miss everything and be off and on the entire match. I ended up being 3rd in both Standard and Hunter in AA. Edit: I don't recall in hunter or standard but I believe I shot two 21's and a 23 and 24.

Great meeting you in person Steyr.
For first match of the year and 4-40s I’m feeling it.
Once again the athletes for target setters did a great job,the tradition continues.
When shooting 2 guns and spotting it’s all I managed to do to keep up loading mags and targets were set.
Weather was perfect ,a few occasional gusts that make the game interesting.

Keystone Classic Leveraction Regional is only 12 days away at Ridgway.
Dont delay any longer, get those entries in.This is a great warmup and familiarization of the range prior to the Leveraction National in June.

Notice,It’s very important to pre register for these matches in order to have meals and awards to work adequately.
An announcement was made concerning pre registrations. It appears that registrations are low and slow on other forums and other matches throughout the country.Regardless of the reason
( reloading components,fuel,match conflicts)Pre registration is a necessary commitment.
Another news worthy item.
Those who are entered in ( all 3)the Leveraction National,22 Open Sight Sporter match and the Sierra Classic HP Regional will be entered into a drawing for an additional prize.

So Anthony is running the supershoot? I need to make up my mind, if I'm going or not, and get signed up if I am. What is the turnout usually like for the supershoot?

I’ve been twice and it’s been really solid with roughly 50 people or more. Great prizes and imo great for people of lower classification to move up or break out.
Leaning heavily towards attending at this point in time...
Steyr,check for hotel availability first.
You may need to book a room in St Mary’s 10 miles away.

You might mean @Chickenhater Royal still has a good bit of rooms using Expedia.
I booked at the Royal a while ago for everything, but I had to cancel my Nationals time frame. That's the nice thing about using Expedia and sites like that, you can book a room WAY in advance and cancel it for free within a week of check-in.
You are correct I meant Chickenhater
SB silhouette at Ridgway Saturday and HP Sunday.
