What is the serial number?

Serial is 37886. Do you know what year of manufacture that would be? Also, there is another number under the sight which starts with a 2.

Savage made approx. 50,000 of the NRA Model 19 series. I have S/N 4523, that is I'd guess 1919-1920 production. Your rifle would be maybe late 20's early 30's, if my guess is correct.
