Mosquitos by SIG

The gun is to get marketed as a "training tool". That is, a unit marketed to places like a police department or to the TSA to familiarize people with firearms/noise/recoil before handing them a .40S&W.

The features like changeable sights and a different power spring are nice, I guess, but how many of us really change from standard ammo to stingers in a pistol session. Other features are attachments for lights and lasers on the molded frame and modified barrels {ports, threaded for suppression}.

Tried it. With multiple brands / lots of ammo, standing, sitting, rested I kept my cashand I'll wait for a Trailside or a Hamerli or probably a Ruger and a case of ammo.

Best regards,

It was worse than the P22 I had and got rid off. I didn't have a way to measure it, but I would say 12-14 pounds DA and about 8 SA. The MK III Hunter Ruger I purchased I would guess from 2-3 pounds. I was in the buying mood, and if the Sig would of impressed me, I would have taken it home with me. I now own my first Ruger.

These pistols are relatively hard to find. I managed to find one in Houston on a business trip last Saturday. Liked it so much I bought a second one yesterday, only 2 days later.

I've got a small collection of .22 semi-autos. None, with the possible exception of my 30-year-old Walther PP, have ever fit my hand or felt better (ergonomics?).

The paper tag on the box stating that Europeans get 2 magazines, but we Americans only get 1 is definitely a turn-off. Not a smart PR move on Sig's part. These magazines retail for $40. The pistol should be shipped with 2.

Great field or plinking pistol.
