I like the looks of mine but the CZ is supposed to be quite the shooter. The biggest problem with the Marlin is that the high comb makes the iron sights a little hard to use.I am pretty much forced to use a scope.I have it setup with see through rings so I can use the factory sights but in order to see them I have to almost rest my cheek on the butt pad.

I would fiddle with the scope placement, generally speaking laying your cheek on the comb is how it should work and if you only can use the butt pad then maybe the scope is to far back. I think the CZ 452 comes without sites. I base this on the www.cz-usa.com website that describes the CZ 452 Varmint "is a heavy barrel version of the American, featuring a 21" heavy barrel and is made without open sights, but with dovetail groove."
