The DSP stock has a drop at the comb to make it OK for open sights, so I can see why you want a low scope base. You have to be careful, the Zee rings will scratch the top of the action when used with some low Weaver bases. This can happen when removing them, ask me how I know. If they've been on the rifle for a long time you can avoid this by putting a standard flat blade screwdriver in the relief cuts in the Zee bases & gently prying them slightly open at the front & back.
Weaver TO9 (TO= Tip Off) is very low & has a 3/8" dovetail as well, not that you need it. It is only a few bucks. New 10-22s come something similar I believe. Mine are so old (like me) they came with a dovetail base.

The Tactical Solutions is probably my favorite base of this type, but it's twice the money of the Power Custom & 4 times the money of the Weaver. It's still lower to the bore than the Power Custom & well made.
