I'm thinking about getting a scope mount of my new model Ruger Single Six. The two I found rather quickly on midway were the Weigand 1-Piece Weaver-Style Scope Base and the Weaver Mount #314. Anyone have any experience with either of these? They are both about $30 at midway right now so price isn't a factor. Is either better? Is there a better option out there?

I have this orphaned red dot that I want to make use of and figured rather than go out and buy another pistol I'd just buy a mount and stick it on my Single Six as it's already very accurate.

Sorry for the generic answer but I have not used a Weigand mount on a Single Six but I have used the Weigand no holes mount for a Ruger MK-II or MK-III pistol and have Weigand mounts on my S&W 617 and my S&W 686.

Weigand mounts are absolutely first class and I have never read a negative post regarding their products or customer service
