I looked at those when they first came out but they were un obtainium and I eventually bought a Bergara BXR for the same money. Happy with the choice.
Any idea where a person could buy that extended scope rail though? Looked at Rugers' site, didn't see that particular rail. I like it as it's JUST a bit longer but not ridiculous. Would be perfect for Appleseed positional shooting without breaking the bank likely, Ruger is usually pretty reasonable on their accessory prices- unlike MANY manufacturers.
