Saw one of these at a gunshow recently. Nearly bought it. What's the diff between these and the standard Ruger .22 auto pistos?

The main difference is the polymer grip. This grip is made to mimic the angle found in a 1911 style pistol. The basic Ruger grip was made to mimic the Luger's grip angle.

There are some more subtle internal differences but the overall operation is the same between these two models of pistols.
