I was lucky enough to have won a raffle for a Tikka T3X in 300 mag this weekend!! However I have little interest in shooting a 300 mag as I don't think it would bd either shoulder or wallet friendly. With the voucher for Cabelas I plan on buying a T1x in 22lr, and am pretty excited about it, having gotten into rimfire shooting lately.

As I understand it the Roughtech stock is a direct replacement for the black stock provided. Has anyone actually done this? Are there any issues/pitfalls? Do you have to move the under chamber filler to the new stock? Does the barrel fit the new stock fairly well? Anyone with real world experience doing this stock swap?
